Second half of the character design project was to draw our creature in its natural habitat. I just got it back today, but it was done at the same time as this guy.

It's not very good. :'D At least not technically. I haven't used watercolours for years and after I finished it was an "oh" realisation with everything that didn't work. I've done another one since and there was a lot less colour bleeding. x_X Sorry if I'm not making any sense right now - I'm so tired. XD

Woa, what a vivid color scheme, a crisp render and smoothness, and the lemonsharks are just great. I think you captured one of the most beautiful scenes in the nature with a perfection and clarity better than I could have imagined. Very nice piece.

I've never been big on watercolors, but it seems like quality is a big issue. some of them look more like markers.. still, the lemonsharks rule
