Description

[[EDIT: If you would like to use or reference this piece for any reason, please view this journal. Thank you very much.]]

Another entry for :iconwarriorcatsfanclub:'s camp contest! I've been working on this since early October, I think, or late September. A friend gave me a ginormous CD of Photoshop brushes she's been collecting for years so I messed around a lot. XD And I watched matte painting lectures by Dylan Cole for a class and tried some of his methods.

This is the camp by the lake. I can't even remember how I pictured the forest camp, except that it was more inbetween slopes instead of in the ground. The little white and red things are feathers and stuff to decorate/cozy up the dens. The Thunderclan forest is in the distance, and the area heading up between those two would lead to the Moonpool. There are four cats in here but they aren't any specific characters. :3

Warriors series belongs to Erin Hunter.
Media: Photoshop CS5. I have no idea where all the brushes and textures are from.

This is amazing!!!!!!!!
I faved it!!!!

Your vision of the WindClan camp is clear and beautiful!
The way the grass has been padded down and you can see the dirt and roots!!!! Amazing! ;u;

The originality of this picture is very strong, however, if you had made up the camp it would have been less limited. To help you understand what I'm saying think of it like this, the WindClan camp is up on the moor, so you have to make it on the moor.

The technique you used was amazing!!! It looks so realistic!!! It looks a famous artist painted it!!! Instant Fav!!!

The impact is very, very strong. It really makes you think about whats going on in the picture. You leave it up to the viewer to decide whats happening. I like that. It is a very good skill.

I hope this really helped. I tried to make it as deep and thoughtful as possible.

Sincerely,
JJ&Paws
